Arabic Language Course

The only prerequisite is: You must be able to read and write Arabic letters

Have you been looking for an easy way to begin your journey in learning Arabic?

Are you unsure of the first step to take?

Do you know how to read and pronounce Arabic letters but would like to learn how to write and understand the language of the Quran?

Our Arabic course is exactly for this!

Essentially, there are five ways to learn Arabic, and each of these ways involves a different approach to language learning. These approaches include learning through complete Arabic immersion, learning through translation, grammar-based learning, communication-based learning, and vocabulary-based learning.

Every method has its own advantages and disadvantages. While it’s important to note that what is easy for one learner is not always easy for another, there is one method that is often cited as the easiest way to learn Arabic. Can you guess it?

That’s right: It’s the vocabulary-based approach.

The vocabulary-based approach focuses on learning vocabulary through repetition by associating images with the words or phrases they represent. Traditional grammar rules are not taught as rules, but are naturally learned by students as they progress.

This fast tracks you on your way to Quranic Arabic.

This level is designed to give you a clear, practical grasp of essential Arabic grammar rules so you can start translating simple sentences with confidence. Along the way, you’ll memorise around 40 key Qur’anic words — the ones you’ll see most often in the Qur’an — making your recitation and understanding much richer.

How Each Lesson Works
We’ll start with a quick recap of last week’s material and homework, followed by a short quiz on the key terms you’ve memorised. Then, you’ll be introduced to a new rule — usually through an easy-to-relate English example — before seeing exactly how it works in Arabic. By the end of each session, you’ll know how to apply the rule to real Qur’anic examples.

What You’ll Learn

  • Hadhaa and Hadhihi

  • The “Is” Rule (Mubtada and Khabr)

  • The “Of” Rule and possessive ’s (Mudāf and Mudāf Ilayhi)

  • Past tense verbs (singular and plural 3rd person, singular 2nd person, 1st person)

  • VSO (verbal sentences)

  • Prepositions (Bi, Ka, Li, Wa, Min, Fī, ‘Alā, Ilā)

  • Pronouns (singular and plural 3rd person, singular 2nd person, 1st person)

  • Adjectives (Mawsoof–Sifa)

Building on the foundation from Level 1, this course covers the rest of the essential grammar rules that appear most frequently in the Qur’an. You’ll also memorise 35 more high-frequency Qur’anic words, further strengthening your ability to understand what you recite.

Lesson Format
The structure is similar to Level 1: we begin with a recap of last week’s material and homework, followed by a quick quiz on the vocabulary you’ve memorised. Then, you’ll be introduced to a new rule — again, starting with an English example before applying it to Arabic.

This level places a special focus on:

  • The different types of verbs in Arabic and how they work.

  • Words that are derived from nouns (Ism), learning how to recognise and translate them.

By the End of Level 2
You’ll have mastered the most common grammar rules in the Qur’an, gained an expanded bank of over 70 essential Qur’anic words from both levels, and developed the skills to translate with greater accuracy and confidence.

This stage is all about application. By now, you have the core grammar rules and vocabulary — Level 3 will give you the confidence to actively apply them so you can begin unlocking the meanings of the Qur’an on your own.

In this level, you’ll cover a selection of rules that are quite common in the Qur’an but were intentionally left out of previous terms to keep your learning gradual. Alongside this, you’ll continue refining your translation skills through regular practice and guided examples directly from Qur’anic text.

Lesson Format
Lessons still follow the proven structure: review, vocabulary quiz, introduction of the new rule, and application in Arabic. However, the emphasis here is on using what you’ve learned — reading passages, identifying rules in context, and translating accurately.

By the End of Level 3
You’ll not only have learned every essential grammar rule for Qur’anic understanding but will also have the skills to put them into practice. This will prepare you for Level 4, which focuses on ongoing practice and long-term mastery
