Harmony at Home: A Talk on Conflict Resolution

We had the pleasure of welcoming Shaykh Zubair Patel and Shaykh Muaaz Vahora for a heartfelt and down-to-earth talk on resolving conflicts at home.

They shared real-life case studies, practical advice, and meaningful Islamic insights that really resonated with families. From improving communication to rebuilding trust, the tips were both thoughtful and doable—helping us all reflect on how to create more peace and understanding in our homes.

It was a much-needed reminder that with patience, compassion, and faith, we can nurture stronger, more loving family connections.

Strength with Humility: A Creative and Uplifting Space for Young Muslimahs

In a cozy and welcoming space, our young Muslimahs came together to reflect on beautiful Islamic examples of strength and humility, exploring how to bring these qualities into their everyday lives.

After thoughtful discussions, they got creative with acrylic painting, guided by a professional artist. Surrounded by friends and sisters, the girls enjoyed a peaceful and inspiring time of faith, self-expression, and sisterhood.

A truly special day filled with growth, creativity, and connection.

 Learning and Celebrating Together: Homeschool Families Wrap Up with a Lesson on Angels

A lovely finish to a great term! The Home school children and their parents had a fun, engaging session on Angels in Islam.

The day was filled with curiosity, laughter, and meaningful discussions. To celebrate, families topped it off with a joyful potluck-style lunch, sharing delicious homemade dishes. It was the perfect mix of learning, bonding, and community spirit—such a beautiful way to end the term!

Arafah : A day when prayers rise and sins fall

A Day of Reflection and Unity: Talk and Family Iftar on the Day of Arafah

What a beautiful evening it was! Families gathered in the spirit of faith and togetherness, fasting and reflecting on the meaning of the Day of Arafah.

We were grateful to hear an insightful talk by Maulana Muhammad Akhalwaya, who shared powerful reminders about the significance of this special day. The night ended with a cozy, heartwarming Family Iftar, where we came together to enjoy a meal, connect, and give thanks.

It truly was a night full of reflection, unity, and blessings—Alhamdulillah!

Approachable Parenting

Our homeschoolers had an immersive educational session dedicated to Hajj.
Using models, games, and presentations, the children engaged with this fifth pillar of Islam in a hands-on, memorable way.

📖 Urdu Tafseer

Every Sunday, brothers and sisters gather for a meaningful connection with the Qur’an in the familiar and comforting language of Urdu.
Led by Mufti Huzaifa Saeed, these Tafseer sessions make the Qur’an’s message more relatable and accessible, encouraging reflection and spiritual growth.
It’s a warm, welcoming space to begin the week with purpose and peace.

Sisters Gatherings: Finding Peace Through Conversations with Allah

What a wonderful time we had as we shared uplifting reflections on the beauty of Zikr (remembrance) and Du’a (supplication)—and how these simple, sincere acts can bring so much peace and healing to our hearts.

The space was warm, welcoming, and full of sisterhood and support. Many of us left feeling lighter, more grounded, and inspired to keep those quiet, meaningful conversations with Allah going in our everyday lives.

Boys 2 Men : Brotherhood Code

Linked by Faith, Not Just Name: Building Brotherhood Through Faith and Fun

The boys had an amazing day strengthening their bonds of brotherhood through engaging presentations and meaningful talks about the Prophetic examples of friendship.

They prayed together in Jama’ah, enjoyed hands-on workshops, and teamed up for fun Kahoot quizzes that explored what it means to be a true friend and how to accept responsibility.

It was a day full of learning, laughter, and building friendships that will last—such a heartwarming experience for everyone involved!

Eid Salah 🌙

Eid Salah at Ad-Duha: A Joyful Celebration Despite the Rain

Even though the weather brought us indoors this year, the spirit of Eid was as vibrant as ever at Ad-Duha!

Families and friends came together for multiple Jama’ahs, praying side by side and sharing warm “Eid Mubarak” hugs and smiles. The rain didn’t dampen the mood—in fact, the joy, unity, and gratitude in the room made it feel even more special.

Creative Hands, Faithful Hearts: Children Explore Hajj Through Art

In the blessed month of Dhul-Hijja, the children engaged in a special project to learn about the importance of Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam. They expressed their understanding by making Hajj models and creating drawings on plates, depictinge the Kaaba

As they worked on their art, the children also discovered the origins and spiritual significance of Hajj, deepening their connection. This meaningful project combined creativity with learning, helping young hearts appreciate the beauty of worship during this special month
