🖌 Muslimaat Socials : Written in Gold

A Beautiful Start to Something Special

The very first Muslimaat Socials kicked off with a warm and inspiring evening for young Muslim women aged 16–24. Titled “Written in Gold,” the session began with a short Islamic reminder that encouraged reflection and connection to faith.

This was followed by a fun and relaxing Arabic calligraphy workshop, where the girls learned to write beautifully while bonding over shared creativity. With lots of smiles, new friendships, and a peaceful vibe, it was the perfect start to what promises to be a series full of sisterhood, faith, and fun.

🦁 The Lions Den 🦁

A Space for Young Men to Step Up

The Lions Den welcomed teenage boys into a space that’s all about real friendships, meaningful conversations, and doing something bigger than themselves.

It wasn’t just a chill hangout — it was a chance to talk openly, support each other, and get involved in exciting community projects. From planning events like Eid in the Park to tackling late-night team challenges and helping with the building, the boys are learning what it means to step up, work together, and lead with purpose.

Lions Den is more than an event — it’s becoming a place where young men can feel at home, grow in confidence, and build a strong sense of brotherhood rooted in faith and fun

📖 In -Dept Surah Fatiha Tafseer

Connecting the Heart to Salah

Mufti Muhammad Sajjad recently led a short and easy-to-follow course all about Surah Fatiha — the opening chapter of the Qur’an that we say in every prayer. Instead of just learning the words, everyone got to explore what the verses really mean and why they’re so important in connecting us with Allah during salah.

The session helped everyone see Surah Fatiha in a new light, understanding how it shapes our daily prayers and brings us closer to our Creator. It was a warm, welcoming time where participants left feeling inspired and more connected to their faith.

🌷 Annual Conference : Beyond the Mirror

Embracing True Beauty Through Faith

The Beyond the Mirror conference inspired sisters to look past outward appearances and celebrate the beauty of faith, character, and modesty. Through heartfelt talks, attendees learned to nurture sincerity, embrace the power of hijab, and find self-worth beyond social media.

Speakers included Ustadha Umm Muhammad, Sister Rujiya Sultana, and Ustadha Taiba Khan, who each shared uplifting reminders about inner beauty and strength.

It was a meaningful event encouraging women and girls to connect with the beauty Allah truly loves.

🎁 End-of-Year : Prizes, Pizza & Memorable Moments

Celebrating a Year of Effort and Achievement

As the academic year came to a close, we gathered to honour the hard work, dedication, and progress of our Maktab students with a cheerful end-of-year celebration. Students were recognised with prizes and certificates, not just for academic success, but for effort, good character, and consistent attendance—reminding us all that growth in Deen is measured by more than just marks.

And what better way to celebrate than with a pizza party? 🍕 The atmosphere was full of laughter and smiles as students enjoyed games, relaxed with friends, and reflected on how far they’ve come.

Alhamdulillah, it was a fitting end to a beautiful year of learning and spiritual growth. May Allah continue to guide and bless our students on their journey.

Boys 2 Men : Trip to Malvern Hills

The Balance of Fun and Morality

The Boys to Men youth club took their latest session outdoors with a refreshing trip to the Malvern Hills. With the theme “The Balance of Fun and Morality,” the day blended adventure with meaningful reflection.

From team activities and a scenic hike to thought-provoking discussions, the boys enjoyed learning in a relaxed and fun environment—building bonds, sharing insights, and growing together on their journey from boys to men.

Nikkah Network 🌺

Building Bridges Toward Marriage

Our recent Nikah Network gathering brought together sisters in a warm, respectful Islamic setting to connect, share, and take sincere steps toward marriage.

The event offered a relaxed atmosphere filled with guided activities, profile sharing, and thoughtful conversations—all designed to help build meaningful connections and genuine sisterhood. From a light-hearted Islamic quiz (with prizes!) to quiet chats over refreshments, the evening was full of positive energy and purpose.

With the support of our friendly Ad-Duha volunteers, the event created a safe and supportive space where sisters could feel hopeful, confident, and truly seen on their journey toward nikah.

Student Bonding Event

A Night to Remember: Adult Students Come Together

It was more than just dinner—it was a celebration of learning, laughter, and community. Students from across our adult classes gathered for a special evening that brought familiar faces closer in a relaxed, joyful setting.

The night featured a fun twist: a light-hearted guessing game where teachers revealed quirky personal facts, leaving everyone surprised as they tried to match each one to the right person.

But between the laughs and great food, there were meaningful moments too. Students took time to reflect on their journey, share milestones, and appreciate how far they’ve come—together.

A beautiful evening that reminded us: learning isn’t just about knowledge, it’s also about connection

📔 Maktab Graduates Take the Next Step

A New Chapter Begins

This past week, we celebrated an exciting transition as a group of our long-time students completed their journey through the Maktab programme and prepared to begin Teenage Maktab.

For many of these young learners, it’s been years of steady growth—developing not just in knowledge, but in faith, confidence, and character. Watching them mature into thoughtful, committed young Muslims has been a true blessing.

The event marked more than a milestone—it was a reminder that learning is a lifelong journey. With new opportunities ahead, we pray that Allah continues to guide their hearts and increase them in sincerity and love for Him.

🌻 Sisters’ Islamic Gatherings

The Enemy Within

Over the past month, sisters from across the community came together in a warm, welcoming space to grow in faith, reflect deeply, and strengthen their connection with Allah s.w.t.

The theme, “The Enemies Within,” guided powerful weekly sessions exploring the hidden spiritual challenges that affect the heart. Through heartfelt reminders, personal reflections, and open discussion, sisters learned how to recognise these inner struggles and begin the journey of healing and protection.

The gatherings weren’t just about learning—they offered a comforting environment to build lasting friendships, enjoy good company, and reconnect over a warm drink and sincere conversations

🕌 Kids Fun Week in the Masjid

Helping Little Hearts Love the House of Allah

During the recent school holidays, Kids Fun Week in the Masjid brought the masjid to life with laughter, learning, and joyful energy.

Boys and girls took part in fun-filled afternoons packed with stories, quizzes, roleplay, games, and more—each activity thoughtfully designed to help young hearts connect with the masjid and their faith in a positive way.

It was a beautiful week of smiles, friendships, and memorable moments that helped children feel at home in the house of Allah.
