The evening opened space for open and necessary conversations, as brothers and sisters gathered to engage with topics often left unspoken. With clarity and wisdom, Mufti Mohammed Sarfraz addressed sensitive questions surrounding marriage contracts, responsibility, and understanding sacred commitments through an Islamic lens.

The session offered reassurance, practical insight, and a reminder of the importance of seeking sound knowledge when navigating life’s major decisions. Hearts left with greater confidence, clearer understanding, and renewed appreciation for guidance rooted in sincerity and scholarship.

It was a powerful reminder that honest questions, when met with authentic knowledge, lead to strength, clarity, and peace of heart.

Banaat Youth Club - Ramadan

Preparing hearts for Ramadan.

Anticipation filled the room as young Muslimahs explored what it means to prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan — not just outwardly, but within the heart. Through guided reflection and thoughtful discussion, the session encouraged intention-setting, consistency, and personal growth in the lead-up to this sacred time.

Creativity flowed alongside learning as the girls designed their own Ramadan journals, complete with goals and habit tracking, while enjoying hands-on stencilling, games, and team challenges. The afternoon balanced reflection with fun, leaving participants motivated, inspired, and excited to welcome Ramadan with purpose and confidence

Kids Fun Week in the Masjid

Learning through stories, play, and purpose.

Laughter and learning filled the masjid as children spent their time exploring the life of Prophet ʿĪsā (ʿalayhis salām). Through storytelling, quizzes, and roleplay, young hearts were introduced to meaningful lessons in a way that was engaging, memorable, and age-appropriate.

Creativity and energy ran side by side as children designed posters about food, enjoyed games together, and took part in penalty football, turning learning into an experience they could truly enjoy. The sessions nurtured love for the masjid, strengthened friendships, and showed that Islamic learning can be joyful, active, and full of heart.

📚 Homeschoolers Club

Preparing for Ramadan

A morning of learning and anticipation filled the Homeschoolers session as young learners explored ways to prepare their hearts and routines for Ramadan.

Through storytelling, hands-on crafts, and interactive activities, children engaged with meaningful lessons in a way that was both enjoyable and age-appropriate. The session encouraged curiosity, reflection, and a sense of excitement for the blessed month ahead.

Parents and children alike left feeling supported and inspired — a reminder that when learning is rooted in faith and creativity, it nurtures both knowledge and love for Islam. 🌙✨

Chai & Chat - Al-Aqsa

Reflections on Al-Aqsa & Palestine

Warm cups of chai and meaningful conversation brought the community together for an evening centred on Al-Aqsa and Palestine.

Alongside thoughtful discussion and shared reflections, families took part in an interactive Kahoot that encouraged learning in an engaging and accessible way, sparking conversation across ages and bringing moments of light-hearted connection to the gathering.

Hearts left more aware, more connected, and reminded of the importance of remembering Al-Aqsa not only in conversation, but in duʿāʾ, intention, and action. ☕🌿

Weekly Reflections

Friday Recharge continued to provide a consistent space to pause, reflect, and reconnect through weekly reminders and discussions throughout the month.

Each session addressing themes of faith, purpose, and personal growth, and encouraging attendees to end their week with intention and reflection. Among the wide range of discussions throughout the month was a thoughtful session by Dr. Stef Keris on whether Islam belongs to the West, which contributed to meaningful reflection and conversation.

The weekly gatherings served as a steady source of nourishment for the heart — a reminder of the barakah found in regular moments of learning, reflection, and community. ☕✨

🌺 Sisters Islamic Gathering - Ramadan Toolkit

Preparation begins long before the first fast.

Coffee Mornings offered a welcoming weekly space for sisters to come together, reflect, and prepare their hearts for the blessed month of Ramadan.

Across the sessions, reminders focused on practical and spiritual preparation, with reflections on Ramadan, tahajjud, guarding one’s deeds, and reconnecting with the Qur’an. Alongside the talks, sisters shared refreshments and meaningful conversations, creating an atmosphere of warmth, support, and shared intention.

The gatherings left hearts encouraged and better equipped — a reminder that preparing for Ramadan is most beautiful when done together, with sincerity and reflection. ☕🌙

This month’s Bookclub brought sisters together for a thoughtful and reflective session centred around the book My Ramadan Companion, encouraging intentional preparation for the blessed month ahead.
