🕌 Boys 2 Men : Masjid Lock-In

A Night in the Masjid: Faith, Friendship & Growth

This August, teenage boys  enjoyed an overnight stay at the masjid — an experience that blended fun with faith. The programme featured team games and a wrestling session with a professional coach, balanced with jamaʿah prayers, a Qur’an ḥalaqah with a Qāri, and time for personal reflection.

Late into the night, the boys came together for open discussions on real-life issues, building trust and brotherhood along the way. By the end, they left with stronger friendships, lasting memories, and a renewed sense of purpose as young Muslims.

🕌 The Legacy of our Beloved Prophet ﷺ

Lessons from the Life of the Prophet ﷺ

This month, the masjid welcomed a large gathering of brothers and sisters for a special talk by Ustadh Yusha Evans. The session focused on the life and mission of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, reminding us of the mercy he embodied and the profound changes he brought to the world.

Ustadh Yusha encouraged everyone to reflect on how the Prophet’s legacy is not only history, but also an example for us today. By following his character, compassion, and resilience, we too can play a role in carrying his message forward in our daily lives.

It was an inspiring evening filled with reflection, hope, and renewed determination to live as true followers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

🥾 The Brotherhood Trek ⛰️

Walking Together for a Greater Cause

The first-ever Brotherhood Trek brought together brothers for a mountain challenge unlike any other. What made the experience special wasn’t just the breath-taking views or the physical endurance — it was the unity, teamwork, and shared purpose behind every step.

As the group climbed together, they reflected on sacrifice and perseverance, raising funds to support the future of our new masjid building. The trek became more than a hike; it was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when hearts are united for the sake of Allah.

A day of brotherhood, strength, and hope — leaving behind not only footprints on the mountain, but also a legacy for generations to come.

🔥 Holding onto Coal

Staying Strong in Faith Through Secondary School

This summer, teens came together for an eye-opening week-long course all about navigating the ups and downs of secondary school while keeping their faith strong.

From tackling peer pressure, friendships, and bullying, to discussing vaping, relationships, and strengthening faith through challenges. Teens also explored how to balance technology and iman in today’s world, including the struggles of doom scrolling.

Through open discussions, practical tips, and plenty of reflection, participants left feeling empowered, supported, and ready to face school life with confidence—and a stronger connection to their deen.

Little learners of the Sunnah - Hadith Workshop 📑

Little Hearts, Big Lessons: Exploring Hadith

Our young learners had a wonderful time at this interactive Hadith workshop!  Designed to introduce age-appropriate Hadith, the session sparked a love for the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ in a fun and engaging way.

Through storytelling, visual activities, and group discussions, the children learned how to practice the Sunnah—saying salam, making du’a, and showing kindness in daily life! Interactive worksheets, hands-on exercises, and take-home sheets kept learning exciting, while Sunnah-inspired treats added a tasty touch!

It was a joyful day where children connected, laughed, and grew together in a positive, masjid-centered environment—planting seeds of love and practice that will last a lifetime!

Spreading the Message at the Dawah Stall

Spreading truth with sincerity and character

This month also saw a beautiful effort in dawah — sharing the message of Islam with others in a spirit of openness and sincerity. While simple in form, such initiatives carry a powerful reminder: every conversation, every smile, and every word of truth can become a means of guidance.

It was a chance for our youth to embody confidence in their deen, connect with people from different walks of life, and represent Islam with dignity and kindness. Small steps like these remind us that dawah isn’t just about big events — it’s about living the message of Islam and inviting others through our character and example.
